Clan of Mackay Family History in Tongue

May 2015. I am from the land on which I stand. My 3rd great grandparents left Tongue in 1849. Photos include: a church built in 1724 where my ancestors have attended for nearly 300 years, and where I attended with my cousins still living there, the graveyard where ancestors are buried, a home ancestors lived in starting in 1830, Tongue House, location of the Battle of Druim na coub of 1433, views of the area, and Viewforth, another family home.
